UNIONS AND EMPLOYERS REACH AGREEMENT
ON LOCAL GOVERNMENT NJC PAY
Consultation across the trade unions and the employers on NJC pay has concluded today with all parties reaching agreement on the 2014-16 two year pay proposals. 94% of GMB members voted to accept and other unions also had significant majorities in favour.
All local government employers will be notified of this so that they can make arrangements to pay cash lump sums in December and salary increases in January.
